This is pure East Indian Sandalwood (Santalum Album), which is now increasingly rare, due to new Indian Government rules. All exports of East Indian Sandalwood have to be grown and harvested responsibly and this is regulated by the Government. 

I can confirm that this Sandalwood essential oil is sourced from a distiller in India adherring to these strict guidelines. Please be wary of buying cheaper alternatives, which are now readily available on the internet, these include Australian Sandalwood, Santalum Spicatum, Sandalwood Caledonian, diluted Sandalwood and other synthetic alternatives.
