Witch Hazel (Hammamelis Virginiana) Distillate

Witch Hazel is a very good astringent and is also widely used for overheated and irritated skin. It is ideal for oily skin and open pores and can be used night and morning to tone cleansed skin before moisturising. It can be very helpful as a sports rub for bruised areas on the skin. Also often used as an after shave care.

Witch Hazel blends well with essential oils and acts as a good base. It can also be used in lotions and soap recipes.

The disitillate is probably the most common form of Witch Hazel around. It is the dried herb of Witch Hazel (approx. 86%) distilled in alcohol (approx.14%). It is vegan friendly.
