Angelica Root essential oil is said to be comforting and warming.  In small quantities it can be stimulating and in larger quantities it can act as a sedative.

Blends well with the following essential oils: 

Clary Sage, patchouli, orange, lemon and vetivert essential oils.

PRECAUTIONS:

Angelica Root is a strong oil and should be used sparingly in low dilutions of 1%.  It should not be used during pregnancy or on children or on people with diabetes.  This essential oil is phototoxic which means you should not go out in the sun for 12 hours after using on exposed skin.
