Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our products, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. If an item in your basket needs to be removed, please click on the 'View Basket' button in the shop. When you see the basket, tick on the item to be removed and click the update button.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Maestro or Solo payments securely online through RBS Worldpay (Part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group).
If you prefer, Paypal can be chosen for most debit/credit card payments. Paypal members can choose this option and they will be directed to Paypal's secure server on the final stage of checkout.
We also accept cheque, postal order or cash (sent by recorded delivery) payments through the post. Please print a copy of the receipt and send it together with your payment (cheques made payable to Essential Oils Online Ltd) to the above address within 7 days of the order. Please note cheques will usually take 5 working days to clear.
All prices are in pounds sterling and transactions will be processed using the same currency.
Shipping And Handling
Please Note: Shipping to the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands or Northern Ireland is not available if there are flammable oils in your parcels.
All our items will be sent by either a tracked Royal Mail or a tracked courier company with the option of next working day delivery.
All parcels sent via the 24hr courier service will be sent that day if ordered before 10am (or despatched on the next working day if received after 10am) and will be delivered the next working day to mainland Britain, excluding the Scottish Highlands (Postcodes AB37, 38, 41 to 56, FK19, 20, 21, IV1 to 37, 40, 63, KW1 to 14, PA21 to 40, PH15 to 26, 30 to 41, 49 to 50. There is an excess charge with the courier for these postcodes so these items will be sent by Royal Mail post). If you live on the Isle of Skye (which is connected by a bridge) please select Scottish Highlands and use Royal Mail as your postage option.
All Royal Mail 1st class post, items will be sent that day if ordered before 10am (or despatched on the next working day if received after 10am) and should be delivered the next day to mainland Britain.
All Royal Mail Special Delivery post - items will be sent that day if ordered before 10am (or despatched on the next working day if received after 10am) and are guaranteed to be delivered by 1pm the next working day (Monday to Friday) to mainland Britain. Saturday deliveries are dependant on the area and are not guaranteed.
If the items are sent by Royal Mail or Courier economy, they will be despatched within 3-5 working days and will then usually be sent by second class post (if Royal Mail).
Royal Mail will not count an item as lost until 10 working days have passed since the item was due to arrive (5 working days for Special Delivery). If the parcel is not received after this time we can submit a claim to Royal Mail and resend the parcel to you once the claim has been settled.
All items will be packaged securely and a certificate of postage and tracking reference will be obtained.
At present all orders and deliveries are to the UK mainland only ( no islands) as we are not able to send any flammable essential oils over the sea. Please DO NOT place an order if you live on an island which has to be reached by the sea, without checking with us first.
We are not able to send items to BFPO addresses.
Click & Collect - from our address at Unit 15, Rountree Close, Norwich, NR7 8SX. Please allow 2hrs from the time of order before collection. Collection must be made between 9am and 12 noon Monday to Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays). If the order is placed at 11am on Tuesday it needs to be collected between 9am and 12 noon on Wednesday. Please phone if you need the collection sooner as we may be able to arrange this, however, it is not guaranteed.
All orders using our express courier service be sent on the same day if payment is received before 10am Monday to Friday (or despatched on the next working day if ordered after 10am) and should be delivered the following day (excluding bank holidays and weekends). PLEASE NOTE: A signature will have to be obtained by the recipient unless you leave special delivery instructions with us when you place your order (ie. please leave in porch) If you do leave special instructions to leave in a safe please, please note the insurance cover will not apply. We would recommend you choose an address where someone will be to sign for the delivery (unless instructions are given) and we will quite happily send orders to your place of work if it's more convenient. Deliveries will be between 8am and 5pm and if you are not in, and do not leave prior instructions with ourselves, the courier will place a card through your door. You will need to call them within 3 days and arrange another time for them to re-deliver (this must be to the same address). If it is re-delivered and you are still not there another card will be left and the item will then be returned to our address. If this is the case, you will need to pay the postage again for us to re-deliver the parcel to you.
If you have chosen Royal Mail for your postage the First Class/ Special Delivery items will be sent that day if ordered before 10am (or despatched on the next working day if received after 10am) and should be delivered the next working day (guaranteed by 1pm with Special Delivery) to mainland Britain. The economy items will be despatched within 3-5 days, please see Royal Mail's website to see their estimated times of delivery. If the parcel is not delivered within 10 working days of the due date, please advise us (within 30 days of the order date) and we will be able to submit a claim to Royal Mail after that time. The Royal Mail will then investigate this for you and issue a cheque, if they agree to the claim, approximately 1 month later. We will not be able to refund any money or replace any goods until the Royal Mail has completed their investigations. If the item is returned by the Royal Mail marked 'not called for' you will need to pay the postage again to have the items re-delivered. However, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery, just in case there is a delay with the Royal Mail service.
The majority of items on our website are in stock, unless indicated. If you have ordered and item and it is not in stock, we will try and order it for you and it will usually take 7 days to reach us. You will always be e:mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at 20% where applicable.
Credit Card Security
All credit card/debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption and sent directly to Worldpay (part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group) for the complete transaction. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Essential Oils Online Ltd offer a 'No Quibble Money-back Guarantee' and will offer a full refund on all products purchased if you contact us with 7 days of delivery and then return the products within the agreed time-frame. Any items returned must be unused and in their original packaging. We will not be able to refund your postage in these circumstances.
All our oils are guaranteed 100% pure and unadulterated and are certificated from the suppliers. We therefore assure your satisfaction and offer our products with a 7 day refund policy as shown below.
If, in the unlikely event, you feel the oils or any of our products are not the high quality you were expecting, please contact us by e:mail, within 14 days of delivery and explain your reasons. We will look into the matter immediately and always endeavour to replace the product or refund your money in full. However, the item would need to be returned within the set time frame and as originally packaged (unfortunately, we would not normally be able to refund your return postage in this instance). Your statutory rights would not be affected.
Essential Oils Online Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
d. Send out e:mail information about our services and products. You can opt out of this at any time.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Please note, we are unable to refund any return postage and packing costs.
