Carrot Tissue Oil (Beta Carotene)
Carrot Tissue oil is a clear orange colour with a slightly earthy scent. Macerated Carrot oil is made by using the chopped root of the Carrot and steeping it in Sunflower oil for several weeks. The oil is then filtered to create a clear orange coloured liquid called Carrot tissue oil.

It is a source of beta carotene and Vitamin A and is often used for mature skin (particularly for the neck) and in some sun screen preparations.

Carrot tissue oil is often confused with the essential oil which is obtained by steam distillation of the seeds and is very different.

Carrot tissue oil should be used in moderation.

Carrot tissue oil should be used within twelve months of purchase.
