Meadowfoam Seed Oil is rarely available in the UK, so we are pleased to offer this as a new speciality oil.
Meadowfoam is used in many cosmetic and haircare preparations and even baby products as it has amazing emollient properties and is very gentle to the skin. It is also a very stable oil because of its high fatty acid content and can be added to less stable items to help enhance their shelf life.
This oil will add moisture to the skin and will help retain the moisture by creating a barrier. It is therefore often used in lip balms and also offers some uv protection from the sun.
Meadowfoam oil is also used to help reduce wrinkles and is beneficial for dry, aging skin.
Suitable for use on the face and body of adults, babies and children.
Meadowfoam seed oil can be used directly on the skin or blended with other oils to make your own moisturising skincare products.
