100% pure and natural, dried yellow Calendula petals.
These soft, bright yellow petals are the soap makers favourite and look very striking when added to your homemade recipes. You can even make your own infused Calendula oil (click the more information link for a recipe). Calendula has long been known for its excellent healing properties and these petals can be mixed into your own soaps, bath soaks or homemade beauty products.
15gms/30gms supplied in a clear plastic jar with aluminium lid. 100gms supplied in a sealed polythene bag. Just as a guide 15gms is one of our 200ml plastic jars packed full of petals.
Here is a basic recipe to make your own infused Calendula oil :-
- Fill a jar with Calendula petals
- cover them with your chosen vegetable oil, Organic Sunflower oil is a popular choice
- Seal the jar tightly and leave it in the sun (a sunny window sill will be fine) for 2-3 weeks.
- Strain the petals out and bottle the oil.
