Our carrier oils have been carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. We sell many refined, unrefined (natural) and organic oils (this is clearly indicated). If the oil is refined, the process is very minimal, using no synthetic chemicals, and has only a very slight effect on the nutrient properties of the product. Refining makes the oil more stable for use in cosmetics, gives it a longer shelf life and removes the odour. An unrefined oil will have just been cold-pressed to extract the oil and will have retained all of its nutrients and minerals. It will also have its full aroma. The organic oils are grown and extracted organically and will also have retained all of their full properties.
