Our carrier oils have been carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. We and where the oils are refined (this is clearly indicated) the process is very minimal, using no synthetic chemicals, and has no effect on the nutrient properties of the product. Refining makes the oil more stable for use in cosmetics and gives it a longer shelf life and in the case of our oils you don't lose any of the good properties through this process. There are many levels of refining and we would always recommend you check with a supplier, before purchase, to make sure the properties of the refined oil are similar to that of the natural, unrefined oil.
